Am a Greek Australian living in Greece: a dynamic identity that is not fixed. In 1981 I came to Greece to discover my parents land and people. After a car accident that immobilized me for over 6 months - painting energized my existence. I studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts 1985 -1990 painting and theatrical design and graduated with EXCELLENCE.

Samos vs Athens

leaving Athens in 1996 was to seek a superior meaning to my art and life. Preserving art within specific circles is meaningless to me...

Samos is located in the east-central part of the Aegean Sea less than 1.5km from the west Ananatolian coasts. Famous for its ancient scientists, scultpures , engineering works, ceramics and wine. Living today in Samos traces back to a rich civilization of diverse cultural exchange that is noted in the Samos museums and in neglected ruins.

During these years it has been difficult for us here. People in distress being washed off on our shores...

I am grateful to have discovered love, loss, & values neglected in big capitals and stereotypes of today...

Samos is an endless inspiration for our humanity and art...
